We’ve Gone Digital!
Wilton Podiatry is now performing digital x-rays. This replaces traditional x-ray films that involve chemical processing which was protocol until recently. We have teamed up with 20/20 imaging, a division of Konica Minolta Medical Imaging for top-of-the-line x-rays to better serve our patients.
Some of the benefits include decreased x-ray exposure, no development time, and the ability to scan and zoom in on certain areas of the foot to better differentiate fractures and other injuries of the foot and ankle. X-rays can also be easily copied and burned for your own records.
As always we offer same day treatment of infections, fractures and soft tissue injuries with in-office digital x-ray.
